Great Smokey Mountains

Peggy and I are just back from a five-day vacation in Townsend, Tn. Went up just to ride the mountains for a few days. Had some very heavy rain for two days but the sun did come out eventually for the afternoon hours and we got in plenty of riding. We rode through Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Lots of tourists even midweek. It is beautiful beyond words there, even in bad weather and the pictures do not do it justice. Had some slight issues with the trailer that had to be resolved. Fortunately, it fits through the door so it spent several nights in the hotel room with us!! Rode home today through the park to Cherokee and lots of back roads most of the way. That is beautiful scenery,I have been going there since I was a little boy.We go at least 2 times a year,rode just about every road up there. We will be going back in august for a week of riding and fun. Glad you enjoyed it Gail and Len
