hipshot Posted October 23, 2007 Author Share #12 Posted October 23, 2007 Them thing were fun ! Need me to send you a hoop and stick , slingshot , Bag of Marbles , Jacks , anything else to amuse yourself ? BEER30 gene. i have a slingshot(wrist rocket), and coffee cans FULL of old and OLDER marbles, some hand made. went back to the store, to buy one of those tops, for a friend. guess what. they weren't there!!!!!! i asked a sales lady ,what happened to them. she told me that they had been removed from the shelf, because they were made illegal , many years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shipment should have been sent back to mexico and not shelved at all. seems ,that the "metal and or plastic ", points were deemed dangerous to users and spectators alike! go figure. i guess i could make one, like we did in the "olden days" when we couldn't scrape up a nickel for a new one. lol just jt
