Bigfoot Posted September 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 19, 2009 Okay. I know my antennas are backwards based on another set of posts I've read. My problem is making the switch. I do not use the CB but at times the reception on the FM is not good and I'm hoping thr switch will help. I have an 04 RSV. I can turn the bottom where everything turns but I can feel what appears to be something turning inside as well so I stopped. Any suggestions on how to do this right? Sling Posted September 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 19, 2009 You need two wrenches, a 17mm and a14mm the 17mm will loosen the base the 14mm will aim the antenna so when you lift the knurled peice to fold the antenna down it will point to the front of the bike. So loosen the both nuts and take the antennas off. install in just the oposite direction using the 14mm to aim it to the front when folding it down. Hope this helps..
