Jinksy4 Posted April 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 4, 2009 Made the modification and it worked out fine - see http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=20293 . I even found the bracket you used at Menards. Also tried a different approach with an "L" bracket - didn't work out too well - was, in my opinion, just too stiff and might cause some cracking in the ABS - was also just butt ugly (see pictures). Thanks for a good write up on the subject. Jinksy
CMIKE Posted April 4, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 4, 2009 Looks like it worked good...I used 1/2 aluminum for mine...little bit easer to bend. Seemed to firm everything up in there.

johnny-canuck Posted April 10, 2009 Share #4 Posted April 10, 2009 I just finished putting a Bad Boy horn inside the front fairing. As I was putting it back together I noticed the broken brackets. Came in the house, did a search on "windshield", and found this. I guess I've got another project now Thanks for the article. John
