Skid Posted March 17, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 17, 2009 I thought the squelch on mine was bad, but turned out to be the knob. After I replaced the knob and it works great. It has a pretty good seal to keep out the dust and mine was very clean down deep inside. May try checking the knob first. Hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

JimRoberts Posted March 18, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted March 18, 2009 While I had the CB out looking for a loose wire or something I could fix, I opened up the bottom and back of the radio and could see the shaft turning without having any effect.
