Road King=any HD Touring?

My buddy has a HD classic and friends with ultra classics that may have there stock mufflers are they the same as the road king he thought so.

They all mount the same on the Touring models. The actual mufflers may be slightly different cosmetically, but they're interchangeable.

Would they improve the sound, anyone ever run other HD pipes that could comment.

Actually, there are some internal differences, depending on year, model, fuel injection or not, california or not, and catalyst mufflers or not.

 

And differences between left and right side mufflers too. Differences in baffling, mainly. SO...just make sure of what your hanging on the bike.

So will any of the above cause a problem or not enhance the sound or what should or shouldn't I be looking for? I'm very confused
