I wanted to take them to a guy who says he can rewind the stator to put out more power and upgrade the rectifier to handle the extra output. Squid did this to his 99 and after he got his parts back and installed it burned a whole lot of wire anl lost much riding time. I would wait till winter to try this in case the happens too.
