hi all the ins co totaled my sons 03 thay told him thay will give him $10700.00 i thought thay would try to low ball him at first hoping he would take it but that a goo offer when he asked if he could buy it back thay told him 4600.00 i thought that was to high

I've just finished a round with Geico myself concerning my son's 94 Mustang. They started out saying they were only going to reimberse 75%. I hung up on them and after a few weeks they came back with 90%. I then filed charges in Georgia (where they are), Indiana (where the accident took place), and in Ohio (where I live). Not quite a week later they called back saying they would reimberse 100%. It took 6 weeks from accident to them taking full responsibility.

Don't let them lo-ball your son and tell him to stand firm with them. I have no idea why, but they try this with just about everyone I've talked to that has had dealings with them. Good luck to you and your son.
