Unfortunately for me the dent on top of my tank is still there.. Tried like 4 cans of the compressed air turning upside down and freezing the dent after I had heated it up with a heat gun.. $20 spent and nothing happened.... wait, I do believe that it caused condensation to form on the inside of the tank and made the bike run like poo until i did a seafoam treatment (another $9) and a full tank of gas.
I too think the steal may be to thick for this method.. Thought about buying one of those Dent King devices and trying..
May just leave the dent, gives it character! LOL:confused24:

Yeah not sure about the meter battery.. it has been quite a while(years)... We will change that and see what happens....
Thanks for the suggestion.

V7Goose,
meter set at 200, we don't get any reading.... so set on 200k and like James says it fluctuates..
Another thing is the Starter Cut off Relay... could that be an issue? We tested it for continuity as per the book and couldn't get any..
Typically I am pretty good at electrical issues...just scratching the head a bit on this one.

IS it me, or does it look like on the video I watched the guy pushes and holds them down with his feet?

Its a serious problem.. The first step is admitting you have a problem...

Great now I will not get anything accomplished today at work! Hope my boss stays away, Daffy has quite abit of jumping to do today! This reminds me of the old Atari game Skydive, loved that game. Godspeed Daffy, happy landings!

OK, bought the 2001 RSV back in September... I am so hooked! Even have a friend that I convinced and he now has a 99 RSV... I am now an Official Supporting Member as well... Have found tons of very useful information already, and have enjoyed stalking everyone for the last few months.
Hope to possibly meet some of you soon. Merry Christmas from Oklahoma!

HA! Yeah we felt all of them so far.. the 5.6 was pretty intense and for us lasted close to a minute.. no damage either, praise God! Don't really care for the quakes either.. give me a twister any day, at least we can scamper off to the hidey hole for those!
Have has my venture for about a month and a half now, really like it, even got a friend of mine hooked, and we went and picked him up a 99 last weekend in Arkansas.
Anyhow, God bless you and your family, hopefully we can get these quakes behind us and not have any more big ones!
