  1. If you post it here that you are bidding it will make searching easier. All I gotta do is watch ebay posts here to find what I need. With everyone else not bidding I will have an easier time. It's a great idea. Do it any way you wish, just be aware that not all bidders come her. It is also easy to use a shill bidder now with the bidder id kept confidential. You have to treat Ebay as an open auction just as any other auction. Know the value of the item, what you will pay and stick to that. To get a deal you need to find stuff that is listed wrong or misspelled as stated earlier. A properly listed item on Ebay will bring out bidders. Some just want it more than others.

  2. the only way you can legally not have chains is to not use a hitch ball but a pintle hitch where it's impossible for the hitch to let go of the trailer.

Sorry to say, but this is incorrect. The only hitch that needs no safety chains is a bonafide fifth wheel.

  3. How's the weather up there? I see all the schools are running late. I hope you didn't get iced in too bad. We just got a bunch of rain down here and it has stayed above the freezing point. How about all you other northern MN folk, how you doing?

  4. Most, but by no means all, toll roads have some sort of alternate route. And its usually more scenic too!

Kinda what I was thinking. The only toll (that I am aware of) we have in MN comes in the form of high speed driving awards. :whistling:

  5. The site as a whole looks fine to me. The one thing I do notice is the font used in a couple of places is a little difficult to read. The part about the development is what I am referring to on the about us page. The letters kind run together. Just the way I see it. KURT

  6. I bought a model fe-210 in August to have a small camera to use on the bike, or the atv. It has worked well for what I have used it for. The one thing I would like is to figure out how to have sound on the videos. My Kodak has sound so I may have to use that for video. Just a couple a pics from the ride in WI the second weekend of September with my sons. Oh yea thanks for sending the cold this way.

  7. As the old saying goes "When the days get longer the cold gets stronger" we are headed for the deep freeze. 22 degrees this morning, now just below 0. Snowed 4-5 inches and the wind is blowing now. In a blizzard warning till 3 pm tomorrow. We are definitely having a white Christmas this year. Ya better look out, cabin fever is coming on fast.

  8. I have used a shop to rebuild turbo 350 and 400 and he won't mess with the newer electronic controlled transmissions. He recommends to get one from a reputable rebuilder. It has to do with the electronic things that he can't test. For what it is worth I would shop the GM dealers for the best price. They have a warranty program that covers parts and labor no matter who installed it. Good luck.

  9. I will only use kerosene in my torpedo or Knipco. These heaters will burn #1 or #2 fuel oil or diesel just fine. The reason I use only kerosene is the odor. They stink like h--- with fuel oil. It also can get hard to breath with that odor. When I was at home dad always bought #1 fuel oil for the Knipco. He used it to warm up a tractor or thaw a waterer outside and it was fine for that. I used it to work on my snowmobile in the garage. Big difference there. After a while the eyes would water and breathing was tougher. Another added bonus is the clothes you wore while doing the repairs would retain the odor for days if not hung outside. Spend the money on k1 kerosene or go to propane. Better yet install a hanging gas furnace that is vented out and just turn it on when needed.
