I rode the RSTD for four years when cruise control is set it usually drops a couple of miles an hour and then goes to where I set it. RSV does the same thing.
I will also try the set /res cycle and see if that works better. thanks for the Info. Learn something new every day:smile5:

Good luck, I just went from the 2006 RSTD to a 2009 RSV love the RSV. Still working on getting the Chrome and things installed off my RSTD and other parts. I will post picture when complete.

Mine is mounted on a aluminum plate. Was mounted on the back of the windshield on my RSTD. haven't quit figured out how to mount it on the Venture. Being retired the POST i have been to never say anything as long as i have the proper gear on. Since those stickers don't come off willingly i am not going to put it on the chrome forks.

you can add heated seats for a lot less than $5000:mo money:

When you get your sign.....just copy and send to me......did that once.......spent 30 min trying to figure out what it was....we were on a trip.....buddy had to turn around to find me...no communication......he looks at it and tells me why don't you just flip this switch and it will probably fix itself.......got my sign.....

Got the links, put them on and then removed then in short order. They made the bike too tall for me. I could barley get it off the kick stand, and then my feet wouldn't touch the ground. I just moved from the RSTD to The RSV. I haven't found much difference in the handling yet. I will probably wait before I try to lower the front. I am 5'7 and really haven't had a problem so far.

Never thought of that......probably think they will lose something without their Harley gear! Of course most Harley's travel this way:mytruck1:

I still can't figure why anyone would want a Harley over a Royal Star.....Lots around here in Oklahoma

I had a Midnight Tour Deluxe 06 that i put 58000 miles on. The original tire was apiece of junk, The tires only went 9200 miles...went to Dunlap 3's...These lasted for 17000+, replaced after rear flat on turnpike...Only tires available on the date I needed them where Avon Venom X....last set went 16000+ miles....current set at 14000+.. I felt like the Avons and dunlaps performed about the same....Avon's are quieter on the Road...I just trade for a new 2009 RSV and am having them put Avon's on from the Start.

The speed limit in that area is 60 mph, however no one except a few ever drive it that slow, pretty much a race track in that area.
If you install the Moto lights, be careful on use if you also run passing lamps, They draw a large amount of current, and will kill your battery quickly. I just replaced the 35 watt halogens with mR-16 led's from custom dynamics. They are bright and very little voltage drop.
