Why?

WHY? Winter Hates You It keeps popping its head around the corner, like an annoying 3 year old.
2. Steamer, some of the carbs ive come across have needed a lot more than seafom. With injectors if one fails you can only remedy by purchasing a new injector
3. Well the drag factor , but I think all the dirt weighs me down.
4. My buddy has fuel injection on his harley police bike. He likes over the carb. My question is, fuel evaporates and causes varnish build up on any fuel system. I have cleaned a few carbs before. How do you clean those small injector jets.
5. Hmmm. Didn't think of it. I guess water, brake fluid, or anything foreign for that matter. So it's not anti theft, more if a safety device
6. Ok so. My wife's grandmother has recently moved on to another world(died) Unfortunately I cannot take off of work to travel to NC , during the week for services and burial. My wife will be leaving Sunday morning with my 4kids. Here is where I feel horrible. I think I can make it a great 400 mile day before dinner. Just in time to receive her call letting me know she has arrived safely. Is there a special hell for guys like me? She's mourning and I'm thinking some touring miles will allow me to heal. Just don't think she would be understanding
7. I just find it funny that bike manufacturers give you a locking gas cap . Like what gas thief would really siphon fuel when he can just disconnect the fuel line to petcock abd hood the hose in a gas can. One further. Why would they choose a bike with a capacity of 5gollons and not a work van that can possibly be have 25 gallons. Just saying, If I saw someone trying to take fuel from my bike. I would probably laugh first.
8. Thus is like I always feel that my car is faster after a wash and wax.
9. I have only one key. This key is in bad shape. If I A. Send you the key. I have no way to move the bike B. Have no way of ensuring you can make a better key The problem I was told was that making a copy of a bad key is basically making another bad key. Therefore a code is the only way to ensure a factory key is made
10. I've never heard of that monkey but rest assured when I catch him, I'm gonna beat him for messing up my clutch
11. http://www.motley.com/
12. Bongo! Leader of the pack? Hahahaha. There goes to show the age difference. I was thinking more of motley crue's girls girls girls
13. If you were to see a line graph that will show three power touque band you would notice how many times with swaps like this you may gain torque at some point of the rpm range but may lose a little elsewhere. Weather it is hp, touque, fuel mileage drop, or a leaner burn. Something changed in that combustion chamber due to the pipes. As long as you are smiling, keep enjoying it.
14. Do we have a sightings page here? I have seen a few in Jersey.
15. Screw it. Here's the picture What say you
16. I will let you know that since this thread was started I have revved my bike 19 times
17. Wow. Who wants to buy a bridge?
18. Do we ever grow up? Just to be clear I am guilty of this. Why do so many guys rev thier bikes at red lights, or when in a tunnel or over pass. I think I know why the latter but why at lights. Years ago when bikes were really not reliable and guys changed pipes jets and rodded it. The carbs would flood up and foul the plugs, so when sitting a light a quick flip of the throttle would clear the carb so why is it guys with very reliable bikes and fuel injection, do they still rev the bike at the light
19. I checked under the gas cap flap, looks like fuel damaged the number. Poor choice by Yamaha. There is al.a stamp letter letter digit on the flap. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. I'm gonna try looking around the ignition switch bag locks, and helmet lock
20. So I was taking a look and my brake is in need of adjustment. It's got enough play that the streamers may be opening the switch. Will readjust and see what happens. On my way to work this morning, I noticed I could push the lever forward.
21. I found partial code under the gas cap. Do 4 characters sound right to you
22. I get a lil snow up here. But at least I ain't got no funny accent!
23. Check to see that there is voltage to the flasher. Normally a bad flasher would keep the light on steady.. The flasher opens the circuit as a safety so if you lose the flasher the light doesn't just stop lighting.
