  1. Hi Jeff,

I have a 55" 4k Samsung smart TV. The picture is fantastic. Sony makes good products also but seem to be over priced. This Tv streams video just fine but my DL speed is 30mb. Good luck with your choices there are alot to choose from.

  2. I don't think any air is getting to the shock. When try to set the air pressure on the class controller to medium for the rear shock the pump runs for a few seconds the display shows 43 psi. But when I turn off the key and then back on and check the rear pressure it shows 0 psi. If I try the high setting the pump runs until it shows 71 psi. but the bike does not raise. It all seems to be working fine with no errors. I would think that if the rear shock was bad it would not build pressure as quickly as it does. Any help would be great. Thanks.

  3. My 85 did this same thing at 35 mph with a new front tire and properly adjusted head bearings. The fix for me was new Progressive springs. I wasn't sure at the time what was causing the wobble but the bike would bottom out on small bumps so that is why I changed the springs and had discovered that the wobble was also gone.

  4. All I can say is WOW. WOT is back. I cleaned the carbs replaced the rubber plugs in the jet bodies the jet body gasket and main tube o-rings and the bowl cover o-rings. Put it back together and went for a ride. It ran great no stumble or hesitation. I synced the carbs and now it is good to go. I'm going to monitor the spark plug color to make sure the mixture is good and hopefully the mpg goes up. Total parts $160.00.

  5. I have been watching this thread because I am having a similer problem. Poor mpg (29) no power at WOT spark plugs are black. It is a 1985 with an 87 1300 motor carbs from the 1200 with 125 main jets, pilot screws 2 1/2 turns and new diaphrams last year. I took the carbs off to give them a good cleaning and found the the rubber plugs in the bottom of the jet block fit very sloppy and are hard. I'm thinking that fuel is getting sucked by them creating a rich condition. I never have to use the choke to start it. The bike runs fine under normal conditions and stumbles at WOT. Last year it ran great when I twisted the throttle I had better be holding on tight and I miss that. It had the problem when I took it out of storage this spring. I'm going order new rubber plugs and gaskets tomorrow. I will post the results after I have it back together.

  6. I just did tonight and have not riden yet. Filled the tank at noon today and used it to go see a customer. Cruised down the interstate at 75 mph no problem. Twist it wide open and it does not want to take off like it should. Hopfully the seafoam will help. I would like to find a set of carbs for a 1300 engine. I think my mileage would improve. I only get about 33 mpg the the 1200 carbs.

  7. I have not started to look for the problem yet, but here are the symptoms. First off I have an 1985 royale with an 87 engine. Did the swap 4th of July weekend 2010 and the bike has run great. Now it starts and runs fine for cruising but when I get the rpms over 4500 it has no power. I used the carbs from the 1200 engine but with larger jets (same as the 1300 carbs would have). It has been running like this since I took it out this spring last year it ran fine. It seems like the timing is not advancing. Any suggestions would be great.

  8. Now I just need to clear out some space in the back of my truck and figure out when I can head up there.

When I am done with it I can donate it on down the line to someone that needs it.

Think it would look silly to have a second engine mounted on my bike? :confused24:

It would fit in your trailer come on up with the bike. If you are interested in it send me a PM.

  9. I know it is a lot to hope for but a complete junk head would be even better than just the cam. That way I can actually test my tool on real shim buckets and get real measurements of the forces involved.

Or maybe reinvent the tool altogether.

I have this 1983 engine torn apart, and the more I think about it I'm not going to get at rebuilding it. If you want the whole engine it is yours you would just have to come up to Two Rivers to get it. It has around 50,000 miles on it and second gear needs to be fixed.
