Hey,
I see that between your friends is Angel Brown (DeLarosa). He moves to Toledo a couple of months ago.
I was you, I 'll send a PM to him.

Todd,
I'm 60 miles north of Toledo, Oh. I live in Southfield, MI.
Angel Larosa leaves in Toledo as well as Bill Maccallister. I use to talk with them by Facebook more than on this site.
Try to access them by the ventureriders FB page, however I'll mention your name to them.
If nothing else show up, I can try to see something else. (Like don't work on Friday...)

oily carb is a sign of blow by from the crankcase it collects in the airbox and drips on the carbs making a mess nothing to do with valve adjustment
So, what is the way to fix that?
-
Won't that cover up your brake light with something on it?
I was going to ask exactly that...
-
Is an oily carb on the 4th cylinder sign of a valve out of adjustment?
I have the same issue on my 97 RS and on the 2001 RSV.
Thanks,
-
Sorry,
I wanted to take a photo of what I had for your review.
The amber ones I have are 3.25 in length. (Not the 4 inches you need)
You are still selling those?
I'm interested on them. BTW, do you have the brackets for them too?

I purchased and I can tell you that yes, it improves the power on the lower speed to get fast easy.
However, the bigger improvement was on the noise. And was big enough that I decide to remove it, since it was anoying. Also, the engine didn't feel so stable as with the original set...
I think that I had it install for a day or two.
So, If you don't want to spend that money, mine is available for 160$.

Hey congratulations, I don't want to ask but how many RSV did you said you sold to get the boat???
I hope Eileen didn't decide to start a monster pond search on it....
Enjoy it...
BTW, did the trailer fit on the bike hitch????
-
Well,
Let me know if you will not going to fix it. I 'll like to check it if you will drop it...
Thanks,

Other than being able to see headlights coming at ya, cant imagine much positive at the thought of riding the Dragon at night but I will tell ya,,, riding Death Valley National Park at night with a full moon is something that HAS to be experienced!!

If you can identify the LEDs you should be able to exchange them.
Are you close to any Fry's???
If yes, you can take it over there for a replacement. You will need to desolder the old one, and be sure you put the new one on the right way (Remeber that LEDs are Diodes..., they only left the current flow on one direction.)
Good Luck

Mine is magnetically attached on the top of the receiver.

Yes,
You need to put HS mode to use the headset speakers. If not only the mic will work.
-
We had been through that with our Lab, and it is really painfull for all the family.
Our condolences...

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like an easy enough thing to do on the weekend. I don't have a fairing on mine and I want to have it blend in with the bike's look. Let's just say she stands out a bit. Here's a pic.
EDIT: Is this the Stebel? Sound Engineering Consultants STEBEL NAUTILUS CMPCT HORN CHR : Amazon.com : Automotive
Yes, that is the right one.

The switch is not external, but on the transmission case. Same as the neutral...
-
I have both:
Stebel in replacement of the one on the side, and two trumpets from Rivco in the front below the passing lamp bar...
believe me they cannot say didn't hear me...
I know that is a little expensive (50$ /Stebel and 180$/Rivco) but it is the best money invested on security.

Have a wedding on saturday, and next saturday I'm winning a new ford f250. Maybe anyways. Trying to squeeze all the riding in I can before ice fishing. Life is good. scratch that. Life is grrrrreat.
So you know in advance that you will be the winner of a Ford F250???
You need to share how to do that....
-
Did he already got it?

Congratulations GrandPa!!!!

Do you have the same angle of coverage with the Leds that you had before with the standard ones during the night?
I don't care during the day, since it will be only for be noticeable by another drivers, but I'll like to keep visibility at night.
Thanks,
Carlos

Not me. Mine is two tones of red.
Sorry.

Ok,
That makes me feel better. Last time we did carbs was last year when I purchased the bike.
Had to be loose and some way it falls when I install the carb covers.
Thanks,
Carlos

No need for more power. That 4 banger is rated for about 130-140 mph. No way the trike can keep up.
Larry
I know, don't even try to.
Enjoy both and drive safe.

Air Horn install - Stebel

I'll post some pictures today about it.
This is the best way to let everybody knows you 're there, and get out your way....
it save me several times.
As Carbon One said, it was not so easy to make it pretty to fit, but it's worth every minute invested...
