Randy T. Thanks for the FB page reference. You're right. There is all kinds of good info on there about the cruise control and the faulty or dirt in the front brake switch. I ordered electronic cleaner to see if I have success with that like the others have said.

I have a brand new (as of November 2019) Star Venture. The cruise control used to always work but in the last couple of months it will not turn on sometimes. The dummy light on the dash board flashes and it won't set. It is not related to using Nav. Has anyone had this issue and figured it out?

I have a 2018 SVTC. I am doing a SW update now. Latest version is on https://www.yamahamotorsports.com/transcontinental-touring/pages/infotainment-software-update and it is R12.0.6. It is supposed to fix iOS compatibility issues which I have noticed problems keeping songs playing on my iPhone (have had to keep pushing the "play" button). Also, I started having issues with my sound system after activating SiriusXM: not playing any audio and hearing a clicking sound every minute or so. I figured out last night that it is caused by SiriusXM when it looses signal. Very bad. Causes loss of all audio, not just SiriusXM! I hope this SW update will fix that but Yamaha does not call it out as part of what is being fixed with this R12.0.6 update. Anyone else have this issue and fix it?

Thanks for your reply. I started carrying a tire gauge and using that but it is a pain to get access to the rear tire stem. Mine is still under warranty. I think i will take it into the shop to have them check it out.

Thanks for your reply. My TPMS was accurate at first but then started showing less than tire gauge. Almost like it got out of calibration.

Hi all late model Yamaha Star Venture/Eluder owners, I am having a problem with my tire pressure reading on my 2018 Venture. My low tire warning light comes on a lot and it is related to my back tire. When I check the air with my tire gauge (one I have used for years), it reads higher than the TPMS shows on the Infotainment System display: display shows around 32-34 but gauge reads 35-39 depending on the day (temp/ride duration). Usually my tire gauge shows 3-5 lbs more than my bike TPMS. So I am having to constantly check it which is annoying. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix for it?
