If it helps, I met "Long Haul Paul" (3w's dot longhaulpaul dot com) at the Laconia Rally in NH. last weekend. He had a Garmin on the the dash of his SVTC, and commented that for routes and travel info, his phone is actually the best of his three units. "...but I'm always checking routes, so I use all three at the same time...."

[First Oil Change]

Hey Freebird, when you did your oil change do you remember which of the side drain screws let out the least amount of oil. I am almost due for my second change and I wanted to send in an oil sample for testing. I want to do this before the oil change and I can't remember which one of the screws it was.

 

I saw a DYI vid which was suggesting there are three drain plugs! My Road* has two.... Is the filter situated so that I won't be able to use my leather belt to r/r? And, yes, I wear suspenders...;-)

My dealer made me an appointment for this coming Thursday so I hope they get it done....

new to this forum,but I did see a post from another which shows the GPS set-up steps in a manual.

You already have the 2020 in Canada? I thought/think it's not being released in the lower 48 until November....

[Trunk removal]

Has anyone tried removing.... I really like the look of the eluder.

Agreed! Does the bike come from the crate with the trunk installed? If so, when mine arrives, I'd like to do the quick connects at that time....I'd have bought the Eluder but I need the reverse, and want the rear speaker option.
