  1. So late last week, I turned the radio on and used it..no issues. When I went to turn it off by holding the button down for a few seconds....NOTHING. Can't turn it off. It's not on when the key is off obviously but when riding it's always on. All the functions work properly but this off button... Anyone fix this issue? Patrick:canada:
  2. Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I drove it in the rain today and with the liquid conditions there was no noise so I think I can rule out the front bearing. I think I am just getting brake pad chattering. So I'll look for some brake pad stay liquid and see if that helps... Patrick:canada:
  3. So, new bike to me for a few months. I have a brake grinding noise on the front, only when I am almost completely stopped. It's fine at higher speeds. I pulled all the pads and they are like new...lots of meat. I checked the rotors (both front) and no grooves etc. I don't have a jack yet so can't lift the front end to see if the rotors are straight... what gives? Dirty? Out of true rotors? Need new pads? these defective? Thanks guys! Patrick
  4. Great info from all you guys!! I'll start with playing with it for a bit, turning it multiple times, maybe it'll loosen up. Then if it doesn't work I will take it apart to see what's going on...I have always been a leave it in the ON position and never in 30 years of riding have I ever needed reserve....(probably spoke too soon!) Cheers guys..awesome Forum page gotta pay my membership! Patrick
  5. Hi all, I'm a new owner of a 2002 RSV. The previous owner stated that he just put in a new petcock. I tried to turn it and it is super tough to do, btw I'm a big guy with tons of strength, so it's not me! :-) Almost need pliers to do it. Can it be loosened? Could it be a bad new part? Thanks in advance to any insight! Patrick:canada:
