  1. Well here goes nothing, I am a new member in this discussion and trying to get some suggestions for loading the gear in and on top of my Timeout Deluxe. I have read "how we load our Time-Out camper" by Gary Mace. By the way Gary, excellent post. I do have some question for you though. The pics in the article were somewhat unclear on how the ratchet straps were attached to the leg mountings on top of the trailer. I think that you have drilled some holes in the end angles to accommodate the strap hooks. This is simple enough, however my concern is that once you start tightening the straps the angles would be pulled out of the top of the trailer because they look like they are secured by screws only in the top sheet metal and plywood. My thoughts on this problem is to replace some of the screws with some carriage bolts and nuts to prevent this from happening. I hope someone can provide me with some ideas on this subject.
