I've had a similar problem once, trying to find an adapter and not being able to find it for the life of me. I am not very good with computers, so that complicated the problem even more.
I've had a problem with my audio - none of my 3.5 mm audio jacks worked, inputs or outputs. When i connected my microphone and speakers to a USB adapter, audio played and recorded fine, but I wasn't able to use the 3.5 mm jacks.
I had speaker and microphone jacks on the front and back panels. They've worked perfectly in the past, but that time, no matter what I did it didn't work. Then I've downloaded and installed drivers for both of my chipsets and audio, but when I tried playing the sound through "HD Audio" it was as quiet as a grave. I have tried looing into the HD Audio Deck, but it was all in vain. Long story short, It turned out I was just missing a proper adapter, a pretty rare one because it was an old model. My colleague pointed me to https://www.icrfq.com/family/191 - lots of adapters in there. Hope this helps!
Best Phone mount I have found for my MKII

An amazing mount! I bought mine on Amazon also. Had more trouble getting a case for my phone actually, as there are so many types and aspects. Phone cases and screen protectors can usually be of two different types - glass and plastic. I prefer the glass ones, cause they are really thin, and the glass used in the ones I use is also very strong. While the plastic protectors are more flexible and also protect the screen from scratches, the glass ones are a thinner their density is higher, which gives a little more strength to my phone. Think of it as additional armor of sorts. I get mine from http://ikasus.cc/ by the way - they have neat price to quality ratio.
There are some drawbacks to the glass ones, unfortunately. On some occasions I’ve noticed that my glass screen protector had a small fracture. Though I dropped my phone several times by that time, so just a single fracture is not to shabby for an 8$ screen case. What is also is great is that it means my case also absorbed force that could have damaged my phone screen and may even have cracked it.
