I put these on my 2000 mm rsv. They hold it up at lights or parked in the garage. Make it easy to move it around. 140 pounds of air in each leg. Rock solid till you hit the button . Leg up landing gear system.

Where did you find those Junior?

  2. Well folks, we've only had a couple of low 40 days in N central KY. I haven't ridden any where to what I wanted. I am still getting some 100 milers but there is one more set then Sunday after Thanksgiving will be the USMC Toy Run in Louisville. That may be my last ride of of the season. Time will tell I suppose.  Lots of 70s days going on but butt is usually in the truck seat haulin kids to appts. I realized last weekend my '06 is barely of 50 on the odometer.. That has to be some kinda crime..lol   God is good tho and he gives me time in the wind when I really need it.

  3. My question folks is, Does the '06 RSTD have a power outlet in the wiring to get  power (+/-) for a stereo add on? I am setting up a batwing. Do I need to add this connection ?  If so, is there a recommended criteria for this connection ?  IE; relay, certain wiring points. I would want it to work with switch and in accessory mode.

Thanks for any response or recommendations,

  4. I have to say, I have sat on gone thru this post this evening and I am most impressed with this rebuild write up. I picked up an 89 a while back from the pay it forward forum. Had every intention to rat it out. wound up with some more surgeries over the past few years. When I finally got released, had grand kids dropped in my lap the same week. that's been 3 yrs. This morn a brother from my Motorcycle Ministry came and I paid it forward to him. He has plans to rebuild it back to a running Royale. I believe he can succeed where God had me to stop. That bike looks fantastic Herman. You will have that to be proud of for some good time now. I am getting to doing a batwing on my RSTD have it in the paint process now. I will have it mounted to a set of the quick release arms. Nothing like what you have done here but I have been taking some pics along the way. That was another project that's been on hold for like 3 yrs now. I will do a little write up on that with some pics when I get it done. God Bless you and Keep you on your travels with 2 wheels.

Fuel conditioner in the tank. Battery tender on the plug.. Santa soon to come by. I want to wish all you folks a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! and  Prayer that the New Year brings better days without so much "illness".  Hope you all been good so Santa brings some new toys and accessories fresh from Yama-Mama..

    God Bless You All,

  6. Man that is a good looking piece of Bowling Green ingenuity. Saw a couple at the Bachman dealership in Louisville couple months back.. I wish Pontiac hadn't gone by the way honestly. I guess right now I will just keep my RSTD under my retired butt. Enjoy that new toy. Be sure to hang with us for a while. Have you been anywhere to find out where she tops out?  hehe

  7. We'll I aquired this bike from the pay forward on here awhile back. I've had to have some surgeries but now I'm good again ride the tour deluxe regularly, but I'm ready to start working on the Royale. New starter, stator, rectifier (came with it) and battery for sure. I know she will need tires and fluid changes. Seems to be a solid bike. Like to get her rolling again .Thanks for the input on the lifting.

  8. I may be whipping a dead horse here but I searched the forum with different key words to no avail. I'm wondering if anyone has put hazard light/ emergency flashers on there RSTD?  If so what was the process?

    Kit,  homemade? Difficulty?
