  1. Thanks to everyone for your help and patience. It was in fact the hose that connects to the rubber boot around the fuel tank filler neck. Here's the reconnected hose. Thanks again.
  2. This picture is the errant hose. Also, not sure related to hose but after running engine for a few minutes, when I cut it off bike backfires.
  3. I got a chance to look this evening and I couldn't see any obvious hose or missing connection. I can't really see all the carbs. Do I need to take off some more parts to get a good look? I have attached some more pictures. The hose is running from the back of the bike.
  4. Thanks for the suggestions. I will take a look and see what I find and post some more pics. It probably won't be until later in the week when I have a chance to work on the bike.
  5. After changing the oil, and getting ready to put side panel back on, I noticed a dangling rubber hose. Any ideas on what it is and more importantly, where is it supposed to be connected?
  6. A picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks so much. Got it back together. Here's the after picture.
  7. Hello all. I made the rookie mistake of not paying attention and photographing as I took off housing to replace battery. I reinstalled a new battery but can't remember the order where stuff was located. Attached are the pictures of what I am trying to reassemble.
  8. My 1991 Royal Venture gas tank needs to be replaced. I found a used 1987 gas tank on ebay that seller says will fit the 1991 venture but I wanted to confirm before I made the purchase. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
