I'm planning on doing a carb clean and have a couple questions i need help with...i have read procedure posted on checking float height....."when you slowly raise assembly the float pops up from the spring pressure of the needle valve" You measure float height at this point..While doing mine it looks like the needle
valve is still closed. Does the needle valve suppose to open or just the pressure of the spring load plunger that makes the float pop up. Also what part of the float do you measure from...I know the wide side but do you measure from center, low side or high side...float sits at an angle to the float bowl surface..
