Several years ago I used RainX on my Electra Glide windshield and ended up having to replace it due to yellowing and star bursts. I can't prove that RainX was at fault, but I started using Plexus on the new windshield and never experienced a problem of any kind. I've now used Plexus for around 20 years and I always have a bottle in my saddlebag.
