  1. My Alaskan Sheepskin' s for my RSTD and my wife's Goldwing Trike came in today, I put them on the bikes (Mine under a Beadrider) after a 50 mile ride my wife loves hers, however the Beadrider is still killing my butt... So tomorrow I will try the Beadrider under the Sheepskin and see if that's any better...
  2. Awesome, Praise The Lord and Hallelujah... This Story Made My Day, God Is So Good !!!! :cool10:
  3. I've been hearing a lot about the Rick Butler Modification, sounds like he is the Man !!!
  4. I have the Beadrider on a stock seat which makes it much better than just the stock seat alone... However it still isn't as comfortable as I want it to be, I'm hoping the addition of the Sheepskin will be what I'm looking for...
  5. Congratulations Beautiful Bike... :cool10:
  6. I just ordered a sheepskin from Alaskan Sheepskin, can't wait for it to come in... I'm gonna try to use it along with my custom beaded and see how it works...
  7. Thanks Keith... I downloaded and saved the map, so now how do I get it to my profile?
  8. I've noticed that many of you have a map colored in of places where you've ridden... How do I get one of those??

  11. I've heard nothing but rave reports about the Air Hawk, I might just need to give it a try... This is the best motorcycle forum EVER !!! (You guys are great.)
  12. If it was black in color I would be interested, but white wouldn't look good on my black and red bike...
  13. I like the beaded much better than stock seat alone, however it is still a little to hard on the butt and legs... So I thought about putting a sheepskin over the beads for added softness...
  14. I'm thinking about putting a sheepskin over my beaded seat on my 2005 RSTD... What do you think?
  15. I've got some on my phone but I don't know how to get them from the phone to here... I'm kinda of a dinosaur... lol
  16. Thanks Guys...
  17. I rode the trike home (300 miles) It takes some getting used to, very comfortable, plenty of power and a boat load of fun... The only thing I don't like is feeling like I'm gonna tip over going around curves... Overall it is a sweeeet ride!
  18. For years my wife has told me that she wants her own bike.. However the bike she's always wanted was a Tri-Wing, I found a 1994 Honda Motortrike with only 23,000 miles on it... (So tomorrow we are supposed to go pick it up.) I hope she likes it, if not i'll have another bike in the garage to keep my 05 RSTD and my son in laws 01 RSV company...
  19. That was AWESOME !!!
  20. The RSTD having electronic cruise was a big plus for me, most of my bikes have been Ventures and Goldwings(Gotta have cruise..)
  21. Please don't get me wrong I love ALL Venture Motorcycles... However for me the RSTD is a Cruiser/Touring masterpiece, I really like the way it handles, looks and feels... I've always said you NEVER put down a man's motorcycle or woman, but if you have to make a choice:"Leave The Motorcycle Alone!" (lol)
  22. My Son In Law just purchased a 2001 Second Generation(38,000 miles, Lots of Extras and Chrome, Like New Condition, Sweeet Bike, $5,700.00) I've had several Venture Bikes, 3 First Generation, 1 Second Generation... I now own my first RSTD and after riding my son in laws new bike to have it inspected, I'm convinced my 2005 RSTD is the best motorcycle i've ever owned and i've owned 34 motorcycles in my short 55 years. ( I understand it's all personal preference of course...)
  23. I'll take it, just let me know how much with the shipping and where to send the check... Thanks
  24. Thanks Guys... Has anyone heard anything about the Pyle systems?
  25. I'm wanting to put a set of handle bar speakers on my 2005 RSTD, any suggestions?
