controller circuit diagram or controller circuit if no too pricy. for 84 VR GI Joe

Hi guys, I have a 84 VR that has been in storage over 11 years. It started as a bucket of rust but now, after a few months of replacing parts, cleaning, sanding and repainting, it's getting closer to road worthy. I had a 83 Venture for 23 years. The best bike I've ever had, and I've had a few. When I saw this one for a couple hundred, I jumped on it. There have been a few times when I thought I could never restore it to the road. But now, I think it might happen. The engine and bike only has 27,000 miles and the engine runs great. Reminds me of that great bike I had before. Wish me luck, I love these bikes. Joe Bye the way, I am a retired Electrical Engineer and think I may be able to fix this controller if I had a schematic.
