    Thank you for all the input, I sprayed them down with WD40 used a dental pic worked it in, waited a couple days and they came out no problems. now time to clean. Thanks again. Thomas

    Hello, I have an 89 1300 that has sat 8 years, need to pull the carbs and clean them. I loosened the clamps, but carbs won't come loose. my question is, are they just tight, or am I missing something. airbox is out, I removed everything to gain access to them Thanks, Thomas
