    Another thought,,, you runnin with them Harley's or used to luggin a big twin? Is it possible that you have been luggin the motor on your Yammer following or riding it like a Harley? While our V-4's are really pretty torquie - they actually like to be spun up a little higher than a big twin..

    That & I like to spin that V4 up a little. BSEG.

    Yesterday's Ride

    Similar to the situation here. Our ride yesterday was about 280 miles. She has been in bed pretty much all day. We just talked though and she tells me that it was not the bike. She went to Florida last week with a friend to help her get a condo ready to rent out. She said that they did a lot of lifting and she re-aggravated an injury from September that she doesn't even remember what caused. So maybe once she heals, it will be ok. We'll see.

    That's what going on with my wife. She is really good at the beginning of the season. But as summer gets here it's worse. Hope Eileen starts feeling better soon.

    Yesterday's Ride

    My wife has just told me she is done riding with me. The pain in her back is to much for her to handle. We went like 200 miles yesterday & it was really bad. today she could not stand or walk to the grocery store or actually do anything until about an hour ago. She is able to get around pretty good now.

    Hey Cowpuc, in a thread awhile back. you said something about the water pump impellor being plastic. would I be money ahead to change it to a metal one & what year did mother Yamaha make the change. over this winter I will be building my 1988 into a better Venture things like clutch, plugs & wires. Hopfully to get a chance to attend a MG & EM. :cool10:

    I just wanted to say happy Father's day to all. Today my girls sent me on a scavenger hunt. It was about 170 miles & a blast. Anyone else get out today?

    Ok but little bit of blue loctite & a lock washer & I do believe I have fixed. The starter used to drag really bad. Today it didn't.
