I rode the tail of the dragon yesterday and it was crazy. Way too many idiots with no regard for human life yours or theirs. The tn leo's had 2 units with hand held radar guns working and it didn't faze the speed demons. Wolfie and I pass through today in the pu and saw 1 tn leo with radar two others with a wreck they had the rider lying out on his/her back beside the road. I think that is damn good place to stay away from.

Here you go Dan see if these pictures help any. If you can get one of those antiques to run long enough to get here I will blow the plastic off it with my Harley. We better eat first because you will probably loose your apatite after I blow the plastic off.

I don't think you will need to worry about cracking during the bend but anytime you bend any metal you will create stress. The more radius you can put in the bend the stronger it will be.

I was hiding it out their because I got tired of cleaning the drool and finger prints off of it.Guess if I was ashamed of what I ride, I'd hide mine...on a back road...all alone...out in the swamps ....with the aligators ....so no one would be brave enought to get it and take it back out in public tooooooooooooo. (Ref your pic - 2012-05-03_11-57-54_372.jpg).But hey, Im not........
I have thought of you twice in the last week (ya I know I need to get a life) the first time was when I was picking out the kitchen trash can for the toy hauler, I chose one of the ones with the cheesy little flip lid and I couldn't help but notice how it resembled the saddle bags on your wing.
The second was when I was having lunch at the Dillard house yesterday.

Good for you I hope you enjoy your retirement.

Yep your right heck I had a smile just taking the picture. It's good to know I have such good friends.Dang.Well, if you had died that day, it would be with a smile. And BTW...I'm here for ya buddy, I can take the toy hauler and put it to good use if you have that opportunity again.
Hey, what are friends for?

Those thoughts and a few others that can not be mentioned here did cross my mind. My better half was about 15 feet away and I figured if I tried the technique you mentioned I would ether die later that day of a heart attack or right there of a gun shot wound. I have more use for the gator, I could use a new pair of boots and I don't need more trouble. Those poor girls passed out from the heat. You should have offered mouth-to-mouth or at least a couple of tequilas. I hear fun stuff happens after that.
It is kinda interesting that you got in for a closer shot of the gator than the girls.

That sounds like a plan.Nice rig Mike. You'll have to come and see us in Kerrville next winter. Maybe we can get Tom and Debbie to come over at the same time. -
That was well worth the admission price. Amazing thanks.

I have a bunch of hungry cows that haven't seen rain or green grass for 2 years. Anybody want to baby sit some automatic lawn mowers?
-
Then you have double the trouble.
-
Very nice.

Nope that's a heart attack in 6&7. Retirement is seeing that and knowing its way to late for you to do anything with them.If that's retirement in the 6th and 7th pic I want some:rotf:

It all started Friday before last I bought a toy hauler in southern FL and we started a 1700 mile trip to go get it. We planed to take the long way home so I loaded the Harley on my carrier loaded the bed with pots pans bedding ect loaded 3 dogs and headed out. At every fuel stop the motorcycle on the carrier gathered a crowd. We picked up the toy hauler and loaded our thing in it then headed to homestead FL and set up in an rv park. We spent the next couple of days going to key wesy and the everglades, I even got to take the Harley gator hunting. We moved north and spent a couple of days south of Orlando then headed north again. Today we set up in Clayton GA we are going to spend a week here roaming and riding. I think I may like retirement. Not sure if the pics will load or not.

Its gona be hard to lead the show when your tow rope is tied to the back of the Harley. In a small group ride, I rode behind a set of Twin Harleys, His and Hers. They were exact duplicates right down to the last rivit....beautiful bikes. The colors were the only difference. Every accessory added they had to pay twice. They even sound the same. That was all I hear for the next 8 hours of riding. The Thundering of the Famous Harley. I could not even enjoy the throaty sound of my 91 VR, when hitting my throttle for the Harley Thunder drowned my 91VR out to liken an electric bike.Next time, I'll lead and show them what progressive springs are all about...

Man I hate to hear that! I hope things have already taken a turn for the better.

An awesome road carving machine that...
I think my bike is afraid of me.
