dstaff94 Posted August 28, 2020 #1 Posted August 28, 2020 I am having issues getting my bike to start back after it gets warmed up good it starts easy when its cold Its not the starter it cranks fast qll the time help please
Patch Posted August 28, 2020 #2 Posted August 28, 2020 The first thing I would check is spark when the bike is hot. Next I assume you use the choke to start when cold? If the needles or choke circuit is leaking then when hot the mixture would be too wet. How long do you let it warm up for? Or is it after driving it for a while that she gets hart to start, or is it always a no start when hot? Make sure the vent lines are clear, next time try removing the gas cap, does that improve starting? Remove tank cover, turn key to run, pumps clicks a few times then stops, lift 1 vent tube at a time and blow down it. Does the air stop moving or can you hear it bubble in the blow? You should not need choke to start when hot. Do you use choke to start when cold? Confirm spark? Confirm vents? Confirm no fuel drips from needles at low RPM (no throttle) or after the engine stops? Take 2 aspirin before responding
