Anyone have experience with Cavalry's *Venture* hardbags?

Hello all, I'm a long time member over at the RoadStarClinic and was hoping you could help out a fellow Star Motorcycle owner.

 

Does anyone here have experience with Cavalry Customs, Venture fiberglass saddlebags? They look very similar to the Royal Star Venture Tour Deluxe bags, but just how similar are they? Looks can be deceiving when not seeing them mounted on a bike.

 

I'm considering a pair as long as they're not smaller the RSV bags, in fact bigger would be even better, but so far my search has turned up little to no info; so I'm turning to the members here. Ideally, I'd *really* like to see some photos of them mounted on a Royal Star, or even a Road Star for that matter, as well as any info you can share on mounting them.

 

Cavalry also sells a saddlebag guard that appears to be identical to the RSV bag guard; so I suppose the next question is, will the guards work with their Venture bags? Or maybe I should ask, will their Venture bags work with the Royal Star bag mounts??

 

I've tried contacting Cavalry direct but no such luck hearing back from them. I'd greatly appreciate any and all info you can share.

I know nothing about the but I do know that member @IronMike has a pair of saddlebags off an RSV that was converted to a trike. I know you could buy them for less than they want for those.
