noahzark Posted March 19, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 19, 2008 I looked through the thread(s) here on xenon lights and figured a changeover would run me 150-200 bucks. Is this the same thing everyone's talking about, or am I missing the fine print? http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product?storeId=10101&Pr=p_Product.CATENTRY_ID%3A2014567&TID=8014524F&TID=8014524F&productId=2014567&catalogId=10111 Appreciate comments/advice. Thanks.
FreezyRider Posted March 19, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2008 Are you confusing Xenon with HID?? The HID systems normally run 200-300 bucks, a Xenon bulb is much less. HID (High Intensity Discharge) is the super super bright-as-the-sun lighting. Sure wish we could get those for $50!!! Not even JC Whitney can do that! noahzark Posted March 19, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted March 19, 2008 Thanks and yep, I was confusing the two. Sure didn't look right, but couldn't break the code. Thanks again.
KiteSquid Posted March 19, 2008 Share #4 Posted March 19, 2008 That JC Whiteny link looks like the repacement 7" headlamp in the 2nd gen RSV with a bulb kicked in for free!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like a good deal. However it does not say much about the bulb. I put in Piaa Intense White bulbs in my stock lamp and am quite happy!!!!!!!!! I would buy the JC Whitney part if I broke my factory lamp.
