kit for noise elimination

I recall reading a thread last year from a member who makes a device that uses the CB transmit buttons to toggle the intercom on and off. I have two questions:

 

1. Can the device be used if I also install a Buddy Rich cable for the GPS?, and

 

2. Can someone please point me to that thread again?

Don't know about that but Mic-Mutes work.

and yes, they will work with the Buddy Rich cable but you have to plug them in ahead of Buddy's cable, not after.
