Because of the input, I recently purchased a new drivers backrest for my 2005 RSTD. Installation was very easy. I did drill out the holes a bit larger. The backrest is very comfortable, I put on 1000 miles last week to and from Sturgis SD last week. Highly reccommend!!!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even had a problem adjusting the back height after using locktite on the screws. Communication was quick & positive with an offer to free the screws if I couldn't do it.
