screamstone Posted May 28, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 28, 2010 SO one of the spacers is missing (the bolt kindly stayed in the trunk) that stands the saddlebag off the frame... Anyone have a good replacement suggestion other than ordering one from the (notoriously slow and expensive) Yammy Parts Shop?? Can I get something similar at a local hardware store? Brake Pad Posted May 28, 2010 Share #2 Posted May 28, 2010 go to home depot, on the isle with hardware, they normally have a cabinet for hard to fined items, Spacers are there, from 1/4 to 5 Inches that was easy, NEXT!!!!

krp41151 Posted May 30, 2010 Share #5 Posted May 30, 2010 I had the same issue awhile back. I measured and cut a piece of 3/8 stainless steel tubing and it works great.
Dave77459 Posted May 31, 2010 Share #6 Posted May 31, 2010 I had the same thing happen to me. Ace was the place for me. I ended up with a spacer and a washer that totalled the same as the spacer I had left. I bought a pair so that they would at least match.
