JimRoberts Posted March 26, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 26, 2009 Just got some new end caps that go on the end of handelbars and for the life of me can't figure out how to change them. P O scuffed up the right on pretty good and the new ones are nice and shiny. Anyone able to give me some insight on changing these buggers out? Condor Posted March 26, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 26, 2009 Jim, You'll have to take the grips off the bike. The caps are held on by a phillips head screw that's accessed from the open end...
JimRoberts Posted March 28, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted March 28, 2009 Thanks Condor. Is taking the grips off as big of a pain in the butt as I've heard?

TexasFlyer Posted March 28, 2009 Share #5 Posted March 28, 2009 I was lucky enough to just rotate the end caps counterclockwise and they unscrewed. I KNOW they are not macho-man tight upon reattaching, but they are good enough for me. Good luck with yours!
