[fuel gauge fan motor and cruise control not working after removing cassette deck]

I recently removed the cassette and related items from my '05 and since then the coolant fan, cruise control and fuel gauge aren't working. the fuel gauge blinks, the fuses are good as are all the connections. Help!!

In the great state of Ga. we have yet to repeal the mandatory helmet law, but in states were we still have a choice I opt to let the wind style the three hairs still clinging to the top of my head.

Trying to remove the left side foot rest bracket.

Bolt head was bad. I used a grabbit extractor. IT Broke !!

 

Any ideas on how to get the bolt out??

 

The extractor did not break even.

Can you fit a dremel tool with a cone shaped grinding stone on the extractor/ bolt hole?

05 venture with 56k has backfire when letting off the gas, any help?
