BaggerShield has just released 2 new models of cruiser windshields. The Patriot windshield is available in 15" and 18" height. These shields are mounted to your handlebars (7/8" up to 1-1/4" bars). The mounting clamps slide in and out from 3" to 9" to accommodate any other accessories you might have on your bars. The shields can be adjusted up and down 2" and the angle of the shield can be adjusted to whatever angle you like. The mounting hardware is made of a very high quality, chrome plated, billeted aluminum and the shield itself is made of 3/16" thick aircraft grade Lucite. Anything on a Bagger Shield for the RSTD?
Not at this time. Currently all of our models are fairing mounted windshields. We are working on a universal design that will mount to standard cruisers but I don't have a time table on its release yet. I'll keep everyone updated as we move forward.

It will be out later this fall. Not sure on an exact date yet. I'll keep you posted. It will be adjustable and the dimensions will be similar to the tall and wide one we just released. It will be tinted on the bottom piece and clear on the top.

Now that the new RSV shield is done we will be focusing on a design for the first generation Venture. Again we would appreciate any input anyone could offer in the design process.

BaggerShield recently released a new design to fit the Stratoliner Deluxe and we have a 2nd design coming out for the RSV in a few weeks. I'm looking for one of each bike in the Minneapolis, MN area to use as models for product pictures and initial fit up for these new BaggerShield designs. There is something in it for you. First volunteer to send me a PM gets to keep the BaggerShield they will be modeling. The year doesn't matter on the Stratoliner Deluxe but the Venture needs to be a 99 or newer. I'll be offering the same deal to the first gen guys as soon as that design is ready. Should be this fall sometime.

I think as soon as the taller ones come out I'll order, can you get both pieces in a matching tint?
Unfortunately the top does have to be clear. You can only go so high with the dark tint and still be within DOT regulations. Give me a call whenever you want to order.

Seeing as how Yamaha discontinued the windshield for the first gens last year, will you be coming out with anything thing to help us 1st geners out?
We've had a lot of inquiries about the first gen shield since joining the forum so we will start working on it right away. Any input on design features from anyone would be appreciated.

The Baggershield windshields are NOT being phased out. At the beginning of 2017 we decided to cut out the middle man and pull our shields from the distributors. In doing so we passed the cost savings on to our customers by dropping our prices 20% across the board. You can buy our shields on our website at http://www.baggershield.com at these new lowered prices. We ship anywhere in the US and Canada.
