[Cruise Control Fix]

Hello Guys, many of us Royal Star Tour Deluxe guys and Venture riders have issues with are cruise control. A friend of mine who rides a Gold Wing also had similar issues where the Cruise would not engage all the time. He suggested I push my clutch out while engaging the Cruise control. Walla, cruise control works fine no problems since. What I do is get up to speed. When I am ready to set my speed I ever so slightly push the clutch handle forward with the tip of my finger while simultaneously hitting the set button, hold for about a second and Walla, cruise engaged. Of course one could go and adjust the clutch lever and what not but why. There it is folks, hope this is helpful to at least one member.

I weigh 240 lbs. I tend to go around 75 mph and get around 150 miles.

[Looking for an audio system]

I purchased the Shark 250 w system. It sounds decent for the price. My friend purchased another name brand system for his Road Star and paid 300 plus dollars. Mine sounds better. I took the tank off to route the wires and put the amp inside the saddle bag.

Your bike looks great! I will be searching the net for the wheel. I have been looking at custome wheels this is by far much cheaper and definitly easier to do. Hope I can find one before the end of the summer.

I quit September 6,2009 I has a very serious ATV accident. During one of my many Cat Scans,MRI's or X-Ray's, a bacteria was found in my lungs. Unknown source or bacteria type, but I have my suspicions. I smoked for over 20 years. Two plus packs a day when I quit. I remained in I.C.U. for 28 days. Most of my time in the hospital was fighting the lung infection.

[Wide Whitewalls]

Just put some white Walls from venom on my bike. They make them. A close second was the continental, have not heard much about them but they look well made.

[Ugly Air intakes]

I know I can purchase a billet cover for the ugly Air Intake, but I thin I saw someone use 5 inch car air intake before. I have looked and cant find. Or maybe somthing diffrent to get rid of that ugly black box.

:255:I had my keys made at a Yamaha dealer for 5 dollars each. If you want the original key with logo 40 bucks.

After reading this thread, I decided to get a couple extra keys made. Took the codes previously listed to a couple hardware stores and a locksmith--no keys. Where are you guys getting your keys made? Maybe I need to have somone send me a couple blanks and have them cut here. Thanks for you replies in advance.
