  1. Left OH around 11:00 AM Friday arrived in Beckley 4:30 PM A great weekend weather wise rode on some nice roads that I have never been on. By the time I got back in OH around 5:00 this evening I clocked up 620 miles The bike got the best mileage go to Beckley 47 mpg 45 on the way back.

  2. I installed a 20k standby generator, did all the install myself the natural gas line, installed the main electrical box then hired an electrician to pull the wires. Everything went well. It has been well worth the cost, the electrician said I could run everything except the dryer an the central air at the same time. So far so good.

  3. I just purchased the Kindle Fire for my Wife for Christmas. I'v had a Ipad for the past year an like it very much. But the price for the Kindle is hard to beat.

  4. We spent the weekend down in KY along with 23 other couples. Had a great weekend, first time in that area, very nice. I spotted you on your bike but little time to throw up my hand. Hope you had a good weekend also.:stickinouttounge:

  5. The car ran strong for 4 days an then the piston got longer not sure how that happened??? Mashed the end of the sparkplug now no compression on that cylinder, so I don't think this engine is worth rebuilding, that's why I was leaning tward a remanufactured Thanks for all the input, that's what I wanted. The tranny has allready been thru aamco in 06 I believe have to check the paperwork. I'm doing the removing an install myself, so that will save a few bucks. Think I'll roll the dice an see what happens. You really can't get much for 3500.00 - 4000.00 anymore that you can rely on. The car did not cost me anything, so I feel I have some extra room that some might not have. Now that you have a little more info do you still think I should go on with it or not

  6. I have a 2001 Dodge Intrepid, with 223,000 miles on the car. The engine went south on me an I don't feel it would be worth repairing it. I'm considering on replacing it with a remanufactured engine from Marshall Engines http://www.marshallengines.com The cost for what they refer to as a long block, with new heads would be 2,300.00 with a 3yr warranty unlimited mileage. Does anyone here have any knowledge on this manufacturer about their engines? Thanks
