  1. I appreciate all the comments. I have no plans to leave the group. We have made too many friends here over the years. Who know when riding season starts up once again. I still might get back in the saddle. But as of right now, I am staying with both feet on the ground, and my mind in all of those wonderful memories of riding.

  2. My husband and I have been members here since 2006. We have a 1999 RSV. We have ridden together since that time.

I have always enjoyed riding with my husband but then last year I decided to no longer ride. I did not ride at all last year. I believe I decided I was no longer willing to take the risk of riding. I told my husband of my decision, and he is still riding.

I am going to let him decide for himself. I just felt with all the crazy drivers out there in this world, I am not willing to accept the risk any longer.

What do you think of my decision?

  3. I am sitting all alone in the chatroom. The a/c is on so the room is comfy unless you are in Colorado where they just had some snow.

But I am in the chatroom, if you care to drop by. Do not be shy because you do not know me, because after all I don't know you either. So just think how I feel.

Sorry I won't be on but we don't like nice LOL. We prefer naughty.

Wait did I just think that while typing?  Yeah, I'm sticking with that.

Well I can always be made to change

  6. Hi everybody,

I am just stopping by to say hello. Hello to the members I know and how do you do, to the ones I have never met.

I hope everyone has a safe riding season this year, and keep all of your eyes wide open for those crazy cage people.

  7. I was just informed that 99 Silver passed away today. His real name was Gary Frase from Flint, Mi.

I probably am posting this in the wrong spot, but forgive me. I was very sad to hear this news.

  8. I just happen to notice your post. I am so very sorry the sudden loss of your beautiful daughter. We have two daughters and a son. I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling. I believe in prayer and I will prayer for your family. I know your daughter certainly was loved by her family. May God Bless her memory and your family.

I hope to meet you someday somewhere. You are in our thoughts here at VentureRiders.

  9. I was here back when the crash happened. It was a hard time for sure. People lost a lot of their photos they had posted.

But we are here now. Thanks Don for all you do for us my friend.

  10. Hi I am new to the site! No, I am lying, sorry. I have been a member since 2006.

I just wanted to remind everyone that the VR Chatroom is open every night. Lately, it has just been rbig1, Flyinfool and Yama Mama on there. Oh, we have a lot of fun, but it would be nice if once in a while a new person might come in to say hi.

We promise to be real friendly. So stop in if you want to.

  11. Yama Mama, rbig1, and Flyinfool are all in the VR Chat once again. Where is everyone?

No one wants to just stop in to say hi? Very hurtful. Very Hurtful.

We understand, we have no real life, so have a nice evening.

    Love,

  12. Is it by chance a standard bearing that can be sourced locally. If some one knows the size it may be able to get tracked down.[/quoteMoped says, he will post a photo of the part. He is on his way out right now to go to the Honda dealership where he had our wheel balanced. He is hoping that they may have it there, but when he called yesterday they did not have a clue what he was talking about.

  13. In the process of getting our rear wheel balanced for our new tire, the dealer lost the collar ( inner race of the needle bearing) located inside the spline portion of the rear wheel. Would anyone here have that part from a damaged wheel available?

We tried to buy one, and they said they are on back order from Japan for a couple months because of the COVID 19.

We have not been able to ride yet and do not want to wait until September for the part.

    Thank you,
