im in need of a name for this part the fist pic shows the part and the second shows where it goes.. and if you can tell me what they sold for that would be great as im looking to sell theses and lost my paper back copy of the book and they seem to be discontinued on the net. thanks for your help. You're family you have no worries about being here. Now as for the baby when she gets a bit older you can get another bike, gotta break her in on riding too. Just remember to stick around and we want pics of this kid when it's born ya know. You might not have a bike but we like kids too. Especially when they are someone elses.

Always keep in mind that this site is more about the people rather than the bikes they ride or not ride. (at least it seems that way to me)

I like many have fallen victom to the economy today with great saddness i watched my 2007 venture get loaded up on a truck and taken away. with a new baby on the way i couldnt afford to keep making the payments so i had to make the choise baby or bike... it didnt take long to decide on the baby so off she went. on another note i did get the opertunity to take off most of the extra's i put on like the hitch and wireing harness most of the chrome so i will be posting it in the for sale section soon as i get pics and clean it up. i hope that we all will remain friends and i hope i will still be welcome here as you all have become a part of an exstended family who have helped me through some hard times as well as the good times . thanks for your ear.. Tell him Congrats !! for me as well as a old grunt myself and 17 years of service and 5 tours under my belt its now a young mans game. and im proud to see the youth of today stepping up for what alot of us have fought to preserve.

Hello to all the VentureRider Members, This is Jean, Earl's wife. Earl injured his back a few weeks ago while working on a motorcycle for one of the members of the site. We had a really bad rain Friday, May 7th and he fell down the front porch stairs during the storm. I took him for a MRI on Monday, May 10th and he has ruptured a disk between L4 and L5 in his back. He is in a lot of pain and on some heavy duty pain meds. right now. If he is supplying parts for you, please be patient with him as he is bed ridden right now. I will be checking his emails daily, and will try my best to make sure that parts he has ordered for anyone are shipped in a timely manner. At this time, he is not able to sit up at the computer, but I will relay questions to him and return answers as they come. Everything in the classifieds for sale will be shipped until supplies run out. We have plenty of the batteries for the First Gens. and Second Gens. as well as most of the other items. We are hoping he will have a corrective surgery in the next few weeks and he will be back on his feet very soon. I have been following the problem with the Clutch Spring and as soon as the new springs arrive I will do my best to ship everyone a new spring as soon as I get them. If your bike is at Earl's shop for repairs, please contact me and I will let you know where he is in the repair process. We are both very sorry for this disruption in the services he provides, and I will do my best to continue to be of service to the members of this site. Your thoughts and prayers would be most helpful during this time, He so enjoys the friendships he had made on this site. It breaks my heart to see him in such pain, and to be deprived of the joy he receives from helping the members of this site. Please take a moment and say a prayer for him, I am so worried.

i had the day off today so i thought id put my new trailer togeather; things started out good i took out the shell top and bottom set them on the lawn and went back took the fenders out and set them aside; now i started to asemble the trailer this went very quick with out even looking in the book almost done and i see a small inch and a half pice of black plastic in the box now im thinking the worst as i pick up my fenders and look for the broken one and there both still good
well back to tighting all the bolts i have in the trailer and i go in the house to get a soda. on my way back out the door i see some dirt on my cover to the box OH NO its not dirt its a HOLE broken so i call harbor freight and they are very nice and looking up part #s for me and getting me a new shell lid and when talking to them i look at the bottom and its not broken but the corner is crushed in
well now the trailer is done and im waiting for the new shell for it SHHHEEEESSSSSSSS just cant win some days
now the good news is in two weeks ill have TWO not ONE but 2 trailers for my lill scooter

i was looking at the posts from this thread and i can meet the folks from tennese down here around cincy someplace and maybe we can catch you in Delaware and see about finding someplace to meet the others. I Pm'd Peggy (yama mama) she said they havent decided when they are going yet. but so far that looks like it will be the best plan so far but im always open for ajustments. Ron

If you have a retired ID card, a current base decal on your bike and applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), you should have no problem accessing the bases and Space Available rooms are a GREAT deal, IF you can get them.
Look at bigger bases and don't forget to check both the enlisted and officer barracks for rooms... it helped me a time or two.
I know the US Navy (and therefore the Marine Corps) requires a MSF safety course every two years to get a decal. IIRC it is covered in OPNAVINST 5100.12H CH-1 of 7 March 2008 available from the US Navy Safety Center HERE.
READ it for the list of PPE covered in section 23 starting on page 22 you will need to ride onbase and note the vest required after dusk.
You should check with the other services safety centers for applicable instructions.
As a MP i need to tell you that PPE is reqired at all times on a military post vest boots gloves helmet ect just my .02 Ron

The only dark blue RSV was a blue and black model (I believe 2008 or 2009). Not my cup of tea but looked pretty good.

a very fine looking bike you got there MRS KITTY my mentor ( yammer Dan ) tells me there the best bike going ( im a second gen guy myself) but a good one for a girl !!!!
