I would love to go to the HUB. Cooler is good and mid-month works well.
-
Best wishes to you Brad and Lonna. Good things happen to good people.

I have the Chromeworks short (13") windshiled and found the buffetting significant above 65mph.
I change between the short, a clearview (stock level) with vent and the stock windshield. I really prefer the CV. My passenger also prefers the CV.

Looks like alot of fun.
Sorry to hear about the bike/windshield.
Hope to see you later this summer on an M&E.

Nice house and pool. I think an M&E is in order.

I mentioned this in another post but am putting it here also. I can't seem to find that magazine in stores here and would really like to see that article (you can't view it on-line). Would someone be able to scan it to a PDF and send to me (maybe unacceptable practise).
The article is here: http://www.ridermagazine.com/output.cfm?id=2226349

The recent testing of cruisers would suggest that Kawasaki missed the target. Read this story http://www.ridermagazine.com/output.cfm?id=2226349

Rider Magazine reports on the test of Victory Vision, Kawasaki Voyager, HD Ultra and Star Venture. The results are here http://www.ridermagazine.com/output.cfm?id=2226349
Makes me proud to own a Venture.....now all those HD guys can go jump in a lake.

Looks great Brad.......you and Lonna enjoy!!!!!

I ordered mine about this time last year and they were swamped with orders. Maybe it is happening again this year. Had to wait 6 weeks to get the windshield, but found them great to work with.

Best of luck to Brad and Lonna from your Indiana friends. It will all work out for the best.

Sign me up for a set.

I think they should ban cell phone use when operating a vehicle...car, truck, motorcycle, scooter, bicycle, et al.
It would probably reduce the number of stupid accidents significantly.

Great time in Rockville. Wonderful seeing everyone.
Thanks Scott for pulling it together.

What a wonderful story.

We had a couple of nice days and I was able to get out for a ride. I had picked up some road crud and so I decided to clean the windshield. That is when I found it very loose.
I popped the trim piece and found four very loose screws and one completely out. I could not believe they had grown so loose on 2,000 miles since install. When I installed the windshield, I had tightened the screws as much as possible after hearing the problems one of our members had with his windshield coming off at 60 mph.
Just wanted to let anyone with a Clearview Windshield to know they may need to check the windshield.

Nice rumble. I can still hear the radio and CB.
-
Ordered 07/28/08 and received on 09/15/08.....falls within the 5 to 7 weeks.
Easy install.......looks great. Standard height with gray tint and vent.
I do see the gas cap reflection at times and would like suggestions on how you solve that problem. I really do not wish to paint the gas cap black.

Seaking, I just got mine as well. Your right on with your observations though I didn't notice the updraft that you mentioned. I really like the way it looks on the bike as well. Too bad Yamaha didn't just put these on to begin with.
One small little note. The windshield brace is broken on the right side. Seems like everyone's are and mine was like that since new. I noticed that with the windshield being wider that the corners will move a bit. Guess I'll have to figure out a way to fix it.
You finally received the windshield.......that is great. I checked the picture in your next post and it looks good.
This means I could get mine before Christmas.

I just ordered some for my RSV. Thanks for your time and the great pictures.
I have the adjustable lowers and love them. I just took a couple of pics and maybe you can get a better idea of how they look. Excuse me for the dirty bike...I have ridden in both cold and warm weather, in cold they create a bit of a dead air space that heats up a bit from the engine. In the warmer weather, they move the warm air right out of there...
Highway Pegs

I have the lower vents and they are a life saver when it comes to engine heat. You can set them for as much air flow to you as you want. They are real nice in cooler weather to shut down and keep the heat in.
I also have foot pegs attached to the engine guard near the bottom and can rest my foot either heal on floorboard or foot totally on the peg. I am 5'9.9"...always wanted to 5'10".
Sorry I do not have pis currently, but if you are interested I could take a pic.
