It was a beautiful last week on the parkway.I saw a White Venture and a white RSTD in Va.near Fancy Gap.
What really shocked we were the amount of BMWs on the parkway last week.I usually see an inordinate amount of Goldwings and Ultra classic but it seemed every other bike was a BMW last week. Was there a rally or is everyone trading in their rides on a BMW?

You will love this bike!
-
That is one more beautiful bike!!!!!That model did it justice as well.
-
I think about it every time a get near a rig.

I wished I would have logged on earlier.I live in Charlotte and would like to meet you guys and girls.Plus I need to learn how to do a carb sync.
-
I had the same problem that turned out to be spark plug wires shorting.
-
I run the venoms and love them.

I like the Kury adjustable "longhorn" pegs
http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/18/scID/53/IMID/460
Work great on my Venture. Gives me quite a bit more legroom. 1" clamps.
Agreed I love these pegs.

1.Get some saddlebag rails(you will drop this baby in the learning process so buy things that will protect the bike.
2 Be real careful stopping at slow speeds,Do not have your wheels turned or turning when you stop. You will go down.I went down twice due to that.
3.Learn how to get the beast back up if she goes down.
Good Luck and have fun.It want take long to get the feel of it.

Well my guess this one may be relisted as the person that bidded has 0 feedback. The scratches will drop the value.
-
I put in for 3 sets. If this works well, I will front for 3 sets (12 diaphragms) beyond my own stock and hold them for folks in the area that might need them.

What I am reading says clutch cover and alternator cover but cannot see exactly where it goes.
-
I am wondering what the billet clutch and alternator cover looks like installed?I seems you would be putting chrome on chrome.I would appreciate any feedback or pics.I have a 2006 RSTD.

Since I bought my 2007 RSTD Midnight last year I have wanted to install a Tri-pouch Windshield Bag. I searched the forums here and elsewhere trying to locate one that would work, never finding what I wanted. Recently I took a chance and purchased a Carolina Leather Windshield Bag Number 721 http://www.carolinaleatherworks.com/winbag721.html
This weekend I finally got a chance to install it and I am very happy with the results. I simply took off the windshield, Removed the three center bolts, inserted the bag, aligned it, marked the location of the holes, and drilled the plastic backer attached to the bag. I then installed the backer between the shield and the metal bar on the rear of the shield and reinserted and tightened the bolts.
The only problem I had was getting the bolts reattached with the extra thickness of the plastic in there. After numerous tries I was able to get all the bolts reattached and everything reinstalled.
I did loose the right side cables from their guide on the frontend of the bike to enable the bags to slide on and had to slightly adjust the cables to get the shield back on.
So if you’re like me and searching for a windshield bag for a RSTD this might be the answer for you.
Scott
I have the same one mounted on my RSTD.I like it alot.

The bike is a very nice!I will check around here to see if anyone is interested. In NC people start buying bikes in early February for spring.
-
If you think Yammi parts are expensive go check out the prices for Indian bike parts. That alone should make someone think twice before buying a over-priced scoot like that. Too rich for my blood and common sense.......
I liked one of the jackets but when I looked at the price tag it was $700.00.I can buy alot of chrome with 700.00

Wow! That is the flight I take at least 4 times a month.Kudos to the pilot and crew.It is no easy task putting that plane down without breaking it up with both engines out.
-
I'm a Corbin fan. Sets you lower and it is contored in such a way that you really feel like you set IN the seat not up on top! Any new bike I am fortunate enough to get will have a Corbin before I take it home.
I like my seat mod! Less expensive and nore comfortible:snow2:

Its sunny and 12 degrees in Charlotte NC.The ice age has begun!
-
Now this Indian bike is Beautiful, and it even comes with passenger floor boards....
but where does the passenger sit.....on the fender...?
Passenger seat pad is missing for sure in this photo...
Many of the bikes on the floor had passenger pegs and did not have the seat.

These are not our fathers Indian. The bikes are awesome looking but the prices were 30K to 40K.I was wanting to ask if they were meant to be driven.I am afraid in this economy Indian will go out business again.
