I actually agree with you. That is one thing that they could have done a much better job with. Maybe it will be better when I get REALLY familiar with them but there are a lot of switches to remember without any lighting.

To some extent, I have already come to terms with the fact that each manufacturer may have its own shortcomings, so I try to choose equipment and transport based on problem areas, or rather, I try to analyze in advance how much discomfort this or that flaw will cause me.

I don't know how they make the vaccine now but I think back then, they injected you with a "dead" or "weakened" virus.  Anyhow, I'm convinced the vaccine gave me that terrible bout of the flu back then.  Mistakes are made.  It's that simple.

I did get the first Pfizer vaccine yesterday.  Seems to be going okay so far.

Right! Modern vaccines use a weakened virus, and 25 years ago they used live viruses. And then a variety of complications did arise after the administration of the drug. Modern vaccines are very easily tolerated.

My county has been getting sporadic doses of the covid vaccine.  The priority 1B folks (over 75) are eligible now and I called when I was noified a week or so ago and couldn't get through until all of it was gone.  Today I was able to schedule a shot for this Sunday through the hospital's web site.  It's going to be the Pfizer vaccine.  Hope it works.  The last flu shot I got over 30 years ago gave me the worst case of the flu I could have ever imagined about 3 weeks after the shot....

The flu shot only protects against the strains of the virus that are included in the vaccine. 30 years ago, most likely, vaccines for each season were not developed as they are now. For the last 7 years I have been vaccinated against the flu every year and have never had the flu since the first vaccination. Therefore, your experience is rather an exception and cannot be an argument in 2021, since medicine has made great strides forward over 3 decades.

  4. Yes, this is a very painstaking job. I purchased the DEWALT Mechanics Tools Kit and Socket Set especially for repairs. It helps a lot, and this set is much more convenient than buying everything one by one. Everything is there at once and it is convenient to store. Who is interested in such sets, just in case, I will leave a link with a review https://homemakerguide.com/best-socket-set/. I think this is a very useful article for those who have not yet acquired their own set of tools, but are planning to do so.

  5. There are a lot of great songs in this topic. I have playlists on YouTube that have many of these liveries. A separate playlist is reserved for songs from James Bond films, and a separate playlist of favorite songs from films. All this can be listened to according to the mood.

Simple question: Whose science are you going to follow?

Well, for example, WHO. There people are more competent in infectious diseases than every ordinary citizen who is his own doctor and scientist, everyone decides for himself how to wear a mask, how to sneeze on others, etc.

We’ve tried to stay with W7 as long as possible resisting going to W10. The main reason for this is the intrusiveness of W10 and that everything you do is “tracked”.   Yes, I know that almost all systems do tracking and data mining to a certain degree, but a computer expert friend of mine informed me that W10 is particularly aggressive in this.

I imagine having firewalls and dummy IP’s help, when you go on Google you’re back into aggressive data mining of every keystroke.

Do yourself a favor and ditch Google. Go with Duck Duck Go or something similar that doesn’t track everything you do.

    Just my 2 cents.

Our actions are monitored only by the operating system and Google, but also by Facebook, the mobile network, and our banks. So it seems to me that the operating system is a drop in the ocean.

This covid has shown it does not play fair and does not always stick to the rules. My Dr calls it the sneakiest virus we ever had. Just because your in the  high risk group though the odds are against you does not guarantee a death sentence and just because your in the low risk group does not guarantee immunity or Symptoms and whether or not you are a contagious carrier. Symptoms are also all over the board from a single symptom to several symptoms to no symptoms at all. All of this is what makes it so difficult to deal with including convincing people who feeling very healthy that they may still be a health risk to others.

Here you have correctly noticed. That is why it is very important for everyone, without exception, to wear masks and keep their distance. Even if a person is not at risk, he can infect those in that group. In general, there must be personal and social responsibility.

The forecast did not call for snow, but it came without warning.  I rode through it for my last 15 mile ride.  My speed was down 20 mph and not leaning the bike too much on the curves.  For safety, slowing down is the key.  It was not my cup of tea to ride in the snow.  Knobby tires is not an option.  My SVTC did perform well, but I was so nervous.

In this season, I don't really trust weather forecasts. Therefore, my bike rides end by mid-November. This does not mean that I dashed off and no longer want to. I just prefer to be careful because the weather is unpredictable. I don't like to ride in a downpour, as well as on snow. Traction is not very good.

I'm guessing that an underlying thought might be that once a person has been vaccinated they are now scott free,,, but not quite so easy. They can still be major spreaders of covid, just by touching things and not keeping hands clean,, or even maybe by not wearing a face mask. Just something to keep in mind as we move forward.

As far as I understand, vaccination is not a 100% panacea for coronavirus. I think that there will still be a chance of getting sick and we need to be careful, because almost every family has people from a high-risk group. The same applies to getting sick with influenza and other viruses.
