  1. First of all I want to thank all who have offered prayers, good thoughts and well wishes for my wife Beth.

She went yesterday for a full body cat scan after being refused a pet scan from our insurance. Her doctor called late this evening to

let her know the results and the scan revealed no more cancer. She still has to do some radiation treatment to her brain as a precaution.

She is so happy tonight as I and we greatly apreciate all of you. Wether you are a believer or not prayers have been answered.

You can surely keep the prayers coming that she will remain cancer free and we will thank you for that as well.

    Love you all

    Kenny and Beth

  2. All good comments folks. I just want to make one thing clear.

Shutting this site down is not under consideration!

So you can take that off the table. VentureRider will be around for a long time.

It's about time you come to your senses:bang head:

  3. All i can tell you right now is she is half way thru the chemo and she is doing good with it so far. There is no real measure of how well its working yet but on her last radiation treatment, which uses a small ct, the radiologist oncolgy said the cancer was shrinking and on track.

With that said we believe in the power of prayer and really do appreciate all the prayers and thoughts that are given. So thank you very much and keep it up.

    Love you guys,

    Kenny and Beth

  4. I want to thank you guys for the prayers and thoughts. Beth finished her radiation last week which was tough. Three weeks at 5 days a week twice a day. Because the cancer was in the limp node near the esophagus they warned it would be hard to swallow and she said it is. The meds they gave aren't helping much and the oncologist wasn't happy she lost 10lbs in 2 weeks. But it is healing now and she is doing better today. The doc said other than the weight loss she is doing good. Just finished her 2nc round of chemo with 4 more to go. Should be finished with that around the middle of November.

Be safe out there and thanks again.

  5. We found out a few weeks ago my wife, Beth, has small cell carcinoma lung cancer. The last few weeks have been hectic with Dr. appointments and test. This is a fast growing cancer and aggressive. The good news is it was caught early. This particular cancer is only staged limited and extensive. If it were extensive there would be little to no hope for the patient. Her's is limited and they feel they can get it all.

We would love to have all the prayers we can get. Some here already know about this and are praying and we thank you.

We have had to cancel our trip to Vogel and sure do hate it, but chemo and radiation starts on the 27th. You guys be safe out there and when this is over we look forward to seeing you all again.

    Thanks

    Kenny
