Just some feedback re size. I bought the Show Chrome windshield for the SVTC, but even with it lowered all the way, I can't see over the top (I'm 6 ft tall). Planning to cut 1" off the top which will be about right for me.

Hope this is true. I've been fighting with Yamaha Canada head office for 3 years and have dozens of emails and phone calls back and forth because of multiple failures and flaws in my 2018 SVTC software and Nav system. I was told in 2019 that a software fix was coming (didn't happen), then promised in March 2020 that new hardware was coming, then told in March of 2021 that neither was coming and that no further updates were planned. Lots of empty promises and "sorry there's nothing we can do's" so I will cross my fingers on this one.

Yes, it is off on the digital display also and it reads the same as the speedometer. The digital display doesn't take its reading from the GPS but rather from the same speed sensor data as the analog speedometer (confirmed by disconnecting the speed sensor wire at the ECU and both the speedometer and digital display read 0 all the time). I have a Garmin Zumo mounted which shows the correct speed (confirmed with two car speedometers). Actual bike speed is 8% lower than what the bike displays. I couldn't figure out why everyone was tailgating me and honking at me until I got the Zumo installed.

I had a SpeedoDRD on my old bike, but it won't work on the SVTC because the SVTC has two speed sensors front and rear which first connect to the ABS/TC system and then a single wire from the ABS module to the ECU. I believe that is also why the CC on the SVTC won't work with the Speedohealer because the ECU is getting different speed info than the ABS/TC system (my theory).

As anyone with the SVTC probably knows, the speedometer is off by about 8% (reads 100 km/h when actual is 92). Letting the group know not to bother with the SpeedoHealer from Healtech Electronics. I spent 3 hours installing it and it does correct the speedometer reading, but disables the cruise control. Healtech confirmed by email that this is a known problem and so I'm sending it back. If anyone knows of a solution for calibrating the speedometer I would love to hear about it.

Dropped my SVTC in a parking lot. Not a scratch. The bike only goes over about 45 degrees and rests on the floorboards and the plastic strip under the bags, so was easily able to pick it up. The only damage was to my ego.

The speed indicated on the electronic display (GPS screen) is not the speed determined by the GPS signal, but rather from the vehicle speed sensor - the same one that powers the analog speedo. You can confirm this by disconnecting the speed sensor - both the analog and digital speedos will indicate zero. My 2018 SVTC is off by 9 km/h at 100 km/hour speed (when the speedos read 100, I'm actually only going 91 km/h as confirmed by a real GPS and also my car speedometer). I use a Garmin Zumo for actual speed and reliable directions.
