Hi everybody, just walked in the door about 10 to 15 minutes ago. Stayed in Kill Devil Hills last night & rode back home this morning. wind blew like crazy yesterday, White caps on the Alligator river when we went over that bridge.Slick as glass today at the same place.Really had a good time at this M&E. Met great people & seen some I had already met.

Fabbed up a mount that attaches to the plastic cover at the gas cap with the 2 screws that are already there. made mount out of a alum mud flap i got from the Advance auto parts store.do not have any pics of it yet but it works great. added 2 square stickey backed pads to rest the lower part on the gas tank rubber strip. does not move around any at all. mounted docking station on plate & ran wiring under mount & plastic cover down to wiring harness going into fairing. Still moving antenna around trying to get signal to not drop out.

[HELP, Radio cuts out]

I have a Sirius radio on mine, I have moved the antenna to the middle of the luggage rack at the suggestion of a Sirius/xm installer at Myrtle Beach bike week. it helped but still cuts out from time to time. I had mine mounted on a plate over the front brake m/c and also on the dash over the speedometer behind the windshield.The dash worked better the the brake m/c. Good luck in finding a good place. Still looking myself:think:

I have put a set of the Kury large ISO pegs on mine also used the offsets to get them in the right place for my stubby legs:rotf:
