    Ok so new here today actually and I'm new to the Venture world. I have a 1983 Yamaha Venture XVZ12 I was wondering can anyone tell me how to find out what model I have? As I know my VIN, and Ik my engine serial number, but when I called Yamaha USA they said it was not an American bike but Idk how that can be as I purchased it in America and it's Liscense and Titled in America. Basically they said JYA41 or JYA47 is American and mine is JYA26 and that's not American so I'm really frustrated as idk how to get my Model code. Thanks again Redwolf
