  2. congrads on the wing. Being that I totaled :bawling: my 2nd gen in May :95:. Then finally the doc stated told me I could go back to riding. :thumbsup2: This was the middle of Augest and I only lasted 2 weeks after that before I had to have another motorcycle so I bought a 09 ultra classic. I was wheeling and dealing on wings and ultra classics and i ended up with an ultra classic. Do not worry I will stay here for a long while and hopefully in four years yama momma willl bring out a new touring bike and I can buy that one. I have found out that there are some good things about the ultra classic. One big thing that I had to get used to, is when I first started riding the ultra classic, it felt like I was riding a small motorcycle. As I put on the miles, I have started to get used to this feeling. One thing I do like is with the sound system, I can go 75mph and I can still hear the radio without any mods

    have a great day:sun:

  4. when i saw the bike and trailer yesterday afternoon, the trailer has three small marks on the left headlight the motorcycle is toast. the upper and lower fairings are gone the gas tank has a large dent on the fowardright side where we think my hand hit the tank,trunk,right saddle bag. left saddle bag and rail are in great shape. thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. if my bike does get totaled, i hope that yamaha has a third gen venture because i am going to wait untill feb 2010 to buy a new bike. this time frame allows me to have about 11,000 dollars and my schooling complete so i can go and buy a brand new motorcycle.:thumbsup2:

  6. Hello all,:smile5:

    I did it

    I did it

    I just went to the darkside today. The tire I have on the back of my RSV is a federal tire. It took 75psi to set one bead and 80 psi to set the other bead. I have set the initial tire pressure at 44psi and will drop down to 40 psi at 400 miles on the tire. I plan on having 600 to 800 miles before i go to Rolling Thunder in MAY.

    I have read and did a lot of research in this matter and I think I am going the right direction for me and my ride. I did add a picture of the lip that the tire has to go over

    pictures are included.

    Have a great day of riding

  7. :bighug::whistling:boy did i mess up.

    the item goes on the inside of the rear fender forward part and is the rubber gasket that is used for the forward mount bolts on the rear fender. these bolts are the ones you see when you take off the riders seat.

    have a great day
