Dug through some really old posts and solved the problem... cheers

Hey guys just ran into some electrical issues with my 86 xvz1300 leaving me scratchin' my head...no power to the stereo deck so I checked fuses and everything was fine- then I wiggled around wires to the fuse panel to make sure nothing was loose but when I turned her back on to check if that worked, now I have no brake light/ blinkers and display readings / tach (neutral light). oddly though when the kick stand is DOWN and IN GEAR the display shows everything fine, but if I press the brake, blinker, shift to neutral or lift the stand display vanishes again..... thanks in advance for your knowledge!
